Warnings for sea areas
Warnings:
Northern Baltic, Sea of Åland, Sea of Archipelago, Sea of Bothnia and The Quark: South near gale 14 m/s.
Strong wind advisory:
Western Gulf of Finland: Southwest wind 11 m/s.
Bay of Bothnia and Lake Saimaa northern: Thunderstorm wind gusts.
Warnings for land areas
In province North Ostrobothnia and also in Southern and Central Lapland today severe thunderstorms can produce very strong wind gusts, over 25 m/s.
In the middle part of the country and also in province Kainuu today severe thunderstorms can produce strong wind gusts, over 15 m/s.
Heavy rain warning:
In province North Ostrobothnia and also in Southern and Central Lapland today heavy rain of more than 20 mm per hour can be expected.
A forest fire warning is in force in provinces Åland Islands, Varsinais-Suomi, Uusimaa, Itä-Uusimaa, Kanta-Häme, Päijät-Häme, Kymenlaakso, South Karelia, Pirkanmaa, Central Finland, Etelä-Savo, Pohjois-Savo, North Karelia and Kainuu.
