Personnel and job opportunities
The Finnish Meteorological Institute has approximately 640 employees. This figure includes parttime employees and the employees hired with the help of outside funding.
Altogether over 300 institute employees work in the capacity of experts. In all, over 50 per cent of the personnel have an academic degree; of them, approximately 15 per cent have a postgraduate degree.
